Beloved is my husband. He is very much like John Wayne, tough but fair and he has the best sense of humor if you ask me. After all we have been married for 22 years and he hasn't killed me yet. He does not believe in divorce and neither do I, but I do think he has considered murder a few times!
Airborne, is our only child and serves in the USAF. He claims he joined the family buisness, which I suppose he has. There is a long list of family members who currently serve or have become proud US Vets, including Beloved and I. We both served in the US Navy. I for 6 years and Beloved for 13. How two Navy Squids produced a Fly Boy I'll never know!!
In May of 2011, Ellie our adorable puppy came to live with us. She is a sweet Papillion/Chihuahua mix with a delightful disposition.
And then there is Moi. I knit for life not just for Christmas.
I blame Beloved for my addiction. He gave me needles and crappy yarn for my 40th birthday. He wonders when I'm going to stop. He makes me laugh.
For years I have dreamed of having a studio for my craft. That day has come. I have taken Airborne's former room and converted it to my studio.
My professional grade steamer, dress form and ironing board are out and ready for use whenever the need strikes. The dresser is a lovely place to store my stash. I can find what I'm looking for quite easily. I love my room.

We currently abide in Key West FL also know as the Rock by the locals. One day I will escape, hopefully sooner than later. It is far too hot here and I dream of snow and cold breezes 9 months out of the year.
Regardless of where I live you can be sure to find me knitting though now I use cotton, silk and linen more often than not!
My favorites are Berocco Seduce, Euro Flax Linen, Knit Picks Comfy, and Voile de la Mer!
