I live in a very large condominium and people move in and out around here fairly regularly. Quite often they leave their unwanted treasures by the bin for someone else to claim.
The stairs that I take to the ground floor overlook the dumping grounds and I traverse them many times each day keeping my eyes pealed for something useful.
Look at what we scored on Saturday - a very expensive G E Water Cooler, that dispenses hot water (140 degrees) for tea and icy cold water! It looks brand new too.
TBC gave it a through cleaning even though it looked pretty clean and it works perfectly. I have no idea why it was discarded but I can tell you that I'm thankful considering how much water I drink these days.
A few weeks ago it looked as if someone dumped their entire apartment by the bin and I brought home a very nice chair which is just the right size for me. The fabric is in good condition but I plan on changing it for the Knit Lounge, probably a nice rich red. Surprise!
I also picked up a large shallow rectangular plastic bin with a lid that slides nicely under the bed.
Last year I got a mini fridge that the teen boys have in their bedroom and a really slick table lamp for the spare room.
Living here does have its perks.
Coming Wednesday - a Dukan Report.
Great score!

I wonder if the people were moving and under dire time constraints and placed the cooler by the bin in hopes that someone like you would come along and save it from the dump. I know when we moved I ended up giving great stuff away at the end because we didn't have the time nor space to deal with it. Our neighbors were very grateful....
So, you WIN!!!!
