The Beloved Commander is my husband. He is very much like John Wayne, tough but fair and he has the best sense of humor if you ask me. After all we have been married for 20 years and he hasn't killed me yet. He does not believe in divorce and neither do I, but I do think he has considered murder a few times!
Air Force Son aka Fly Boy, is our only child and has graduated from High School with honors this past summer. How did my baby go from Kindergarten to a Senior in 5 minutes flat? He has pending orders from the U. S. Air Force and will be leaving in July for basic. He claims he is joining the family buisness, which I suppose he is. There is a long list of family members who currently serve or have become proud US Vets, including TBC and I. We both served in the United States Navy. I for 6 years and TBC for 13. How two Navy Squids produced a Fly Boy I'll never know!!
Ellie, is our adorable puppy who came to live with us in May of 2011. She is a sweet Papillion/ Chihuahua mix with a delightful disposition.
And then there is Moi. I am the Lady of Perpetual Knitting or in other words I knit for life not for Christmas and I long for the day that I will have my very own Wool Room. When Fly Boy leaves I'm taking the room before TBC gets any ideas. Yes, I have been plotting and planning for quite some time.

Yes indeed, I've done it. And now I'm slowly working on the second hundred. Currently, I've knit 123 pairs. Though the need for hand knit socks have diminished since we have moved to Key West.
Regardless of where I live you can be sure to find me knitting though now I use cotton, silk and linen more often than not!
My favorites are Berocco Seduce, Euro Flax Linen, Knit Picks Comfy, and Voile de la Mer!
